What is the Pierce County Superior Court LINX System?

The Pierce County Legal Information Network Exchange (LINX) system is a shared database used by Pierce County Superior Court and other entities within the county's criminal justice system.

LINX was developed to facilitate data sharing and exchange and to reduce redundancies in data entry.  LINX is available on the Internet at
https://linxonline.co.pierce.wa.us

Subscribers can view upcoming superior court calendars, list case information, obtain selected court forms, and view the jail roster.  Attorneys who get LINX accounts can view court documents, electronically file selected documents, and confirm or strike commissioner proceedings.

The Pierce County Clerk maintains the automated official court record, including a complete docket in LINX.  Since LINX does not communicate directly with the state judicial database, the county clerk also enters required information into the statewide Superior Court Management Information System (SCOMIS) and Judicial Information System (JIS).  SCOMIS displays complete Pierce County case status information and a case index by name.  The JIS maintains and displays as appropriate Pierce County statewide case, person, and order history information.
