What are the current fines on speeding tickets and other minor infractions?
In the 2007 session, the Washington State Legislature passed laws mandating an increase for certain traffic infraction penalties; such as fines for Speeding and Failure to Stop. The penalties increased in two phases; the first phase went into effect on April 30, 2007. The second increase took affect July 22, 2007.
